On December 8, a 10-member delegation from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Vietnam, including NGUYEN Thanh Tan Vice President and Director General, visited our campus.
The group first visited the Kakuma Campus, where they met with Institute of Medical, Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences Faculty of Pharmacy Director Yukio Kato Professor and Yohei Sasaki Professor, Director of the Institute of Medicinal Plant Science, and inspected the facilities at Faculty of Pharmacy. After that, they moved to Takara-machi /Tsuruma campus and met with Institute of Medical, Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences Faculty of Medicine and Osamu Hori Professor of Dean, the executive committee of the research area Faculty of Medicine, and inspected the lecture rooms at College of Medical, Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences School of Medicine and the common equipment room. At both the medical and pharmaceutical institutions, they introduced their respective institutions and exchanged opinions on how to strengthen exchanges in the future.
At University Hospital, which we then visited, we received a greeting from Akihiro Yachie Trustee, followed by an overview of University Hospital from Tomokazu Yoshizaki, Director of the hospital. Following this, we exchanged views on the dispatch of doctors for training and inspected the hospital facilities.
Kanazawa University The JCMT will take the opportunity of the delegation's visit to Vietnam to further strengthen interactive international exchange, human resource development, and training with the Vietnamese Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Pharmacy.
